The Benefits Of Wireless Charging To Your Business
And how you can grow your customer loyalty ...
With the launch of the new Apple iPhone X and its siblings, the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, I felt that I should tell you about one of the new features of these phones, and that is wireless charging ...
Apple's new iPhones have wireless charging built in! Aircharge is certified to work with them!
Although Apple will undoubtedly release their own wireless charging stations, I'm very pleased that they decided to work to industry standards, which means other accessory manufacturers come into play.
"CMC always recommend Aircharge!"
Aircharge is a brand we have been working with for some years now and they have a network of charging points in convenient locations including McDonald’s, YO! Sushi, Costa Coffee, Virgin Active Health Club, Virgin Trains, Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse, Emirates, Finnair, EE, Vodafone, Orange, O2, Hub by Premier Inn, IBIS and Novotel to name just a few.
When developing the new iPhone family, Apple tested their wireless charging with a range of different manufacturers and Aircharge got the recognition and approval of Apple as one of the most efficient wireless charging systems available.
But we do have to state that most of the new smartphones on the market have wireless charging capabilities, which is another reason for Apple to work to standards, and why we can now recommend Aircharge to all of our customers, not just those with Android phones from the likes of Samsung and Huwaii and LG.
"So how does wireless charging work?"
Wireless charging (or cordless charging) uses an electromagnetic field to transfer energy between two objects through electromagnetic induction. Energy is sent through an inductive coupling to an electrical device, which can then use that energy to charge batteries or run the device.
Aircharge has taken that technology and turned it into a great product that every business will love. One variation sits flush with desks and tables, is completely unintrusive and allows you to differentiate yourself with customers and business colleagues alike.
Additionally, it is available in other devices such as a very cool desk lamp base and you can even get induction charging phone cases for older phones that don't support wireless charging by default.
And did you know that by using Bluetooth beacon technology, retailers such as coffee shops can push offers to customers using Aircharge devices, making for better customer loyalty and retention?
Installing Aircharge helps to increase your overall footfall as you'll be included on their location app so passers-by with limited power will walk-in in to recharge their devices and, while there, will want to buy from you.
"We'd love to show you how it works!"
From hot-desks to the boardroom, from coffee tables to hotel room bedside tables, Aircharge is a great range of wireless charging products and everyone at CMC recommends them highly. Call us on 01908 272722 or click here to ping over an email and let's arrange a demonstration for you.
